The 2.30pm concert will feature a clarinet, piano and double bass trio, performing Richard Charlton’s Chorale and Elegy. His “Elegy” is a response to providing suitable repertoire for talented young musicians. With this piece he pays homage to one of his passions, the film music of Ennio Morricone.
Solo piano performers, Nathan Chua and Cooper Harwood have been performing in the Piano for Pleasure series for over five years and with Benjamin English have been highly successful competition performers. They are joined by Gillian Chataway and Francis Chataway to make up the trio.
