Four to debut in futures fixture

As Greater Western Victoria Rebels take on Gippsland Power, there is not just four points on the line, but a likely-top eight position.

Rebels and Power are only separated by percentage – both sittings at three wins and six losses.

Joel O’Connell (Lake Wendouree), Tom Morrish (Redan) and Lochie Dawson (Hamilton) will all make their Rebels debut in the TAC Cup’s futures round.

During these rounds (10-12) each TAC region is expected to play at least 11 players who are turning 16 or 17 in that particular year. Each region will be permitted to play 24 players during these rounds resulting in an 11–13 split between bottom-age and top-age players.
