Former Ballarat head of the lake rowers Katrina Werry and Lucy Stephan are representing Australia in a World Cup regatta in Poland this weekend.

They are members of the women’s coxless four – one of 11 Australian boats at Poznan.
The crew, which also features Molly Goodman and Sarah Hawe, will back up in the next World Cup – the third in the series – at Lucerne, Switzerland, next month.
Originally from Nhill, the now New South Wales-based Stephan, 25, is one just nine Australians at Poznan who competed at last year’s Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
She is a member of the Melbourne University Boat Club.
Werry from Ballarat attends the Victorian Institute of Sport and now rows with Mercantile Rowing Club.
The 23-year-old was part of two Head of the Lake victories with Ballarat Clarendon College.
Stephan captured one Ballarat Associated School title on Lake Wendouree with Ballarat Grammar School.
