The Roosters proved last weekend they could match it with the best after going down to the first-placed Box Hill Hawks by just 13 points.
Despite being down two players in the second half, the Roosters had chances to clinch the win late in the game.
The main challenge for the Roosters against Williamstown will be in ruck, facing one of the best ruckmen in the competition in Nick Meese while the Roosters’ two key ruckmen are out with injury.
Second gamer Nicholas Hausler stood up in Nott’s absence against the Hawks last weekend to finish with 22 hit outs in a half, but will receive help from his teammates against Williamstown.
The Roosters will also need to tidy up a few areas such as kicking efficiency.
This week, Roosters coach Marc Greig has only made changes to the line up out of necessity due to injury, preferring to stick with the team as it is.
The show of faith will help the development of the players, while also giving them a chance to demonstrate their improvement.
