Mr Hogan was killed as he reversed his white van outside his house along suburban Labilliere Street about 8.20am on May 24, 2016.
Mr Hogan’s alleged girlfriend Yu Tung Lo, 26, was also arrested by homicide squad detectives the following day and was charged with one count of murder.
Mr Hogan had planned to marry the 26-year-old Chinese national who allegedly enlisted her ex-boyfriend, Duhovic, to shoot him at point blank range in the driveway of his own home, the court heard.
Ms Lo, also known as Tracy, appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning alongside Duhovic.
Friends and colleagues of Ms Lo said she was never in a relationship with Paul Hogan. She is yet to enter a plea.
