A car smashed into a tree in Creswick at the weekend, severely damaging the vehicle and leaving just a dent in the trunk.

It’s believed the collision occurred about 10.30am Saturday near Coopers Reserve, opposite the town’s information centre.
Its wheels were stolen before it was collected.
No critical injuries were recorded.
It comes three months after debate reignited over what do to along Ballarat's tree-lined Avenue of Honour, with many in the city at odds over whether to move the trees, erect a barrier or reduce speed limits following safety concerns.
There have been two deaths and four cases of serious injuries along the road in the past five years, VicRoads data showed.
