There will be centres in Ballarat, Gordon and Melton beginning early in the third school term next month.
AFL Goldfields female football manager Krista Woodroffe said this was an exciting initiative to assist in the growing development of participation by females in the region.
"With the growth of our female football competition from 21 teams to 38, it is important that AFL Goldfields assist in the development of young potential footballers.
"The centres are a way to promote football to young girls at community level, educate in the fundamentals of the game through fun and hopefully inspire them enough to want to continue to play with a club with in the region.
The Ballarat centre will be based at White Flat and run from Wednesday, July 19, to Wednesday, August 23.
Sessions at Gordon Primary School start on on Friday, July 21 and finish on August 25. Melton starts at Arnolds Creek on Friday, August 4 and runs until September 8.
