SHATTERED: Wendouree Medical Centre staff arrived at work on Wednesday to find a big slab of concrete had been thrown through a window facing Gillies Street North.

The Wendouree Medical Centre was vandalised in the early hours of Wednesday.

Staff arrived in the morning to find a window had been smashed with a big slab of concrete at the Gillies Street North address.

Practice manager Susan Rodgers said several bins had also been rummaged through. “We’re cold without the window, but other than the shattered glass, nothing was taken,” she said.

“I’m not sure who did it, but it is school holidays.

“The building was vandalised last school holidays.”

Ballarat police attended the scene about 8am and will conduct further enquiries into the incident.

It comes just days after the Lake Wendouree Adventure Playground was damaged in an overnight arson attack.

Ballarat Apex members have resolved to rebuild the destroyed section.
