Scores were level at half-time before PEGS delivered two goals in the second half to post a 3-1 victory and draw level with WestVic on the ladder.
Bryce Robinson was the lone goal-scorer for the visitors and with six rounds remaining WestVic hangs onto fourth spot. It will have a chance to respond next week when it plays Gippsland Bulls – which are two points ahead of WestVic.
WestVic’s women went down in an entertaining contest to CV Blazers. Blazers won 4-2 with Mikenna Papworth and Chloe Scott scoring for WestVic.
