While the team have struggled in the Football Federation Victoria women’s state league one, Brady says witnessing the the growth of the young squad has been hugely rewarding and will benefit them in the long run.
“While this season has been really challenging, it’s been a great learning experience for all our younger players,” Brady said.
They take on mid-table side Essendon Royals on Sunday at Morshead Park at 3.pm.
“Last time we played them we lost 3-2 but it was probably a game we should have won so we will go in confident,” she said.
They will be without one of their most experienced players in Alyson Pym, but Brady said her absence just makes for a “new challenge.”
