The Daryl Brown notched up his third win in a row on the circuit in the fifth heat of the Winter Challenge for stayers on Friday.
Pufnstuf began the sequence on June 30 and followed up on July 11.
A 3yo gelding out of unraced mare Blank, Pufnstuf made his debut in August last year and immediately went for break before returning in March.
Pufnstuf follows in the steps of the Dan O’Sullivan-trained Antagonist, which also has three wins on the Geelong synthetic track.
BALLARAT trots trainers Emma Stewart and Anton Golino each had group wins at Melton on Saturday night.

Glenferrie Burn ($4.90) took out the group 3 $20, 000 Sumthingaboutmaori Free-For-All, 2240m, for Golino.
