Man killed after head-on collision with truck
A man has died following a head-on collision with a tow truck in Gisborne on Monday evening.

Emergency services were called to Gisborne-Melton Road, south of Couangalt Road, after 6pm.
Investigators have been told the driver, who died at the scene, crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided head on with a tow truck, according to Sergeant Kim Bramwell.
Police and emergency services are at the scene of the collision and Gisborne-Melton Road is currently closed with diversions in place, Sergeant Bramwell said.
