The Brisbane Lions player is set to line up for the Big V against the Allies at Etihad Stadium on Saturday, September 2.
She is only Lion in the 20-strong squad, which is largely based on the all-Australian squad and is to be added to.
The Big V comprises of players born in Victoria squad, while the Allies are made up of players born in other states territories.
The state-of-origin match will be part of the AFL’s Celebration of Football week between the end of the home and away season and the start to the finals series.
Ashmore is spending the AFLW off-season playing with Melbourne Uni in the VFLW.
She is having another consistent season, having been in the best players four times in eight games.
Melbourne Uni sits third on the ladder in the 10-team competition with six wins.
Diamond Creek heads the ladder.
