The three adoptions bring the total number of pets adopted out of Ballarat kennels since last Saturday to 78.
The three-day adoption drive saw all animals at Ballarat RSPCA rehomed. A three-legged cat, Touro, and two dogs Bliss and Max were adopted from Pets Place on Tuesday and Thursday.
In total 12 dogs, 57 cats and six rabbits were rehomed.
Nine cats and a dog have been transferred from Warnambool RSPCA to Pets Place. The facility hopes rehome them before closing on August 31. There are also now another four dogs and five cats at RSPCA Ballarat.
RSPCA Pets Place pet care adviser Leia Martin thanked Ballarat for a stellar adoption drive.
“It is always satisfying to match an animal with a new owner,” Ms Martin said. “We are grateful that so many people in the Ballarat community visit either RSPCA Pets Place or the RSPCA Ballarat Animal Care Centre to find a new furry family member,” she said.
There are still animals available for adoption, which can be viewed at rspcavic.org/adoption.
