He was donating to River’s Gift, the charity Fraser is raising money for during Saturday’s 50km treadmill challenge. “That’s amazing. I don’t know that person and they don’t really know me and they’ve just donated $50 to River’s Gift. It’s amazing what the community does. It really gives you a lot of hope and it makes me smile, it really does,” she said.
Fraser will run 50km on the treadmill with the aim of breaking the current world record time for a female of 3:51:25hr. “I’m very confident. There are basically two options in my mind – get the record or die trying,” Fraser said.

“My personal best for road is 3.36hr so I’d be a bit disappointed if I was much over that because I believe I’m in better shape than I was when I ran that.”
Fraser is a passionate supporter of River’s Gift, which is the largest source of non-government funding for SIDS research in Australia. Fraser will start her run at the Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre from 10am on Saturday.
