More than 15 CFA trucks were called to the blaze at the property along Mangans Road after a big black plume of smoke was seen rising about 1pm.
The fire has been contained but is still burning.
Leading Senior Constable Tony Walker said the blaze was sparked by an ember in a fire drum that had been brought into the shed for a party tonight.
"The drum was inside the shed and embers have gone into something flammable," he said.
“It started when they were cleaning up ahead of a party tonight.”
The property’s house, which is detached from the shed, was not damaged.
A young woman and her baby were living in the shed in an attached bungalow but escaped unharmed.
The four vintage cars, which included an old Toyota Celica cabriolet, were not insured.
"The family is devastated," Leading Senior Constable Walker said.
