Instead, Moller will represent Australia as part of the Emerging Boomers team at the World University Games in Taipei from August 20-29.
While Moller will take to the court for Saturday night’s home final against the south conference’s second-placed Hobart Chargers, he will not be available to play again unless Ballarat GMHBA Miners go all the way and make the championship game on September 2.
“It’s mixed feelings, it’s really exciting to be able to play for Australia and play in a world championships format, but missing a couple of finals for Ballarat is a little bit disappointing,” Moller said.
“It’s my second year now of really working towards this (a championship).
“But it’s fantastic that we have a home final, so really looking forward to playing that and hopefully I come back for the grand final.”
