ProLocal is an online community engagement platform for local businesses to connect with customers and for customers to search locally for products and services. The platform will initially focus on Hepburn Shire, Macedon Ranges and Mount Alexander Shire.
ProLocal founder Debra Rhyon said there was a need to bring greater visibility to local products and service providers.
People can join the platform to connect and collaborate with others. They can also post tasks, jobs and requests for products or services.
ProLocal CEO Jurgen Rhyon said the idea was to bring visibility to demand by helping other members of the community realise unmet demands.
“Our focus is on making genuine local connections with the intention of collaborating for mutual social and economic benefit,” he said.
