Premier Daniel Andrews inspected the new-look Mars Stadium on Thursday morning ahead of the fixture, which will be the city’s first AFL home-and-away match.
While the club has committed to playing a further two regular season matches in Ballarat in 2018, the AFLW side is also expected to feature in Ballarat.

Footy fans unable to get a ticket to Saturday’s game will be able to venture to the Ballarat Showgrounds live space where musician Mike Brady will perform his anthem ‘Up There Cazaly’.
