The Central Highlands Netball League A grade competition had a thrilling three-way tie in the Kaylene Trigg award on Wednesday night.

Learmonth's Eleisha Phelps, Beaufort's Jessica Hollett and Dunnstown's Johanna Dash all polled 27 votes to share the league best and fairest award.
In what was a tight count for much of the night, Dash led by three votes coming into the final round - where Dunnstown had the bye. Hollett and Phelps both delivered best on court performances to draw level with Dash.
The trio were rapt to win the award, Hollett saying it was an honour to share it with such quality players.
“I’m shocked,” Hollett said.
“These two are very deserving winners.”
Phelps had no expectation coming into the night and is excited for her side’s premiership tilt.
“It was a really big surprise, we’ve had a really good season, so I thought we might steal votes off each other,” she said.
“Our team’s had a really good season, losing only one game...hopefully we can win the premiership.”
While Dash added it was great to win the award for her club.
“You don’t know who’s going to win because it’s such a tight contest. I love this because it means our club gets another award, so I’m really happy about that.”
Meanwhile, in the B grade competition there was also joint winners.
Clunes' Chloe Jones and Bungaree's Olivia Browning both polled 21 votes - one clear of Gordon's Jaye Dalgleish.
Browning was among the leaders for much of the night, reaching 21 votes with two rounds to go. It was her fellow winner that stormed home to accompany Browning.
Jones had only six votes after 11 rounds before reeling off five best on court performances in a row.
In the C grade vote count, Springbank’s Bethany Simpson wrapped up the award with a round to spare.
After a flying start, Simpson held a two-vote lead after 11 rounds and maintained that for the remainder of the count on her way to polling 36 votes – three votes clear of Bungaree’s Ebony Pearson.
