Key defender James Lukich made a successful return from a foot injury with Waubra last week and comes into the side. Xavier Vearing is out of the side while Tony Lockyer will undergo a concussion test. As is always the case, height inside the opposition’s forward 50 is something that will test the Roosters. The likes of Rowan Marshall, Josh Battle and Jason Holmes, all capable. But coach Marc Greig stressed it was more about pressure around the ball in order to limit free-flowing delivery to the Zebras’ tall timber.
While the start will be important given the Roosters have conceded 17 goals in its past two first terms.
