The annual Love Your Body and Mind Week shared positive mental health and body confidence messages with almost 920 students.
“The Love Your Body and Mind Week initiative aims to encourage positive self-image and wellbeing among the Loreto community,” said the school’s Julia Richards.
Popular blogger Uncanny Annie (Annie Nolan) took part in a panel discussion where participants spoke about their lives and gave advice on how to love your body and mind.
A particular focus was on developing and maintaining a positive mindset and the value of learning to love yourself for who you are, not trying to change to be like someone else.
“Over the past few years it … has been encouraging to see a growing awareness for mental health and body image issues here at school,” said Mornane House representative Anne Tinney.
