The free, eight-week pilot program aims to give women the tools to lead a healthy life. Women still keen to take part are urged to stay tuned for potentially more programs next year.
Daughters of the West builds on the Bulldogs’ successfully growing Sons of the West program for men, which has expanded from the western suburbs into Ballarat and the state’s west. Similarly, the women’s program will present workshops and fitness sessions with community health experts. The pilot program follows a state government boost to develop the club-led initiative into Ballarat, Melton, Maribyrnong and Wyndham.
