The group also participated in a phone banking exercise, calling people all over the country to encourage them to vote yes in the postal survey.
Instructor Lily Paskas said it is her responsibility as a yoga teacher to encourage those around her to vote in favour of allowing same-sex couples to marry.
“I believe marriage equality should have happened yesterday and I will do everything in my power to help the yes vote get through,” she said.
“In yoga we always practice letting go of judgments and to have open hearts so we are already in practice to move forward and turn that into activism.
“I encourage everyone in the community who has their votes at home to vote as soon as they can and vote yes.
“We love out LGBTQI community and believe everyone should have basic human rights.”
