North City, which finished the home and away season in fourth position, took ladder-leaders Redan by surprise with a dominant opening quarter.
But Redan jumped into action in the second term, managing to turn around the five-goal deficit into a two-goal lead by half time.
While it remained a tight contest in the third, Redan ran away with the premiership victory in the fourth.
