The heads of the Arts Academy and the Music Theater have joined forces with students, musicians, photographers and composers to send a message of love from the heart of Ballarat. 

Described as “an epic musical statement of love and support for Marriage Equality and the YES campaign”, the five and a half minute video was uploaded to YouTube on Monday, September 25. 

The video is Directed the head of the Ballarat Arts Academy at Federation university Bryce Ives and was composed and arranged by Dr Richard Chew who is the program Leader of the Academy’s Music Theater. 

The video features music performed by the BallaRat Pack Orchestra and images of people from the region with messages of support to change the Marriage Act.
