BALLARAT’S Ceremony of Remembrance is a chance to come together on Thursday evening and remember loved ones lost. The service is a time to honour those we once enjoyed and loved deeply with others who share the same emotions.

Hosted by Ballarat Hospice Care and Ballarat Health Service’s Gandarra Palliative Care Unit, the service is held in different venues each year to reflect community diversity. The service will be at Our Lady Help of Christians, Wendouree, on Thursday, 6pm. Space will be provided for small photos or mementos of loved ones to display during the service.

Hospice bereavement counsellor Liz Dawson said the service honours the connections which continue even when a significant person in our life dies. To register, call Hospice on 5333 1118.
