Roy was an assistant coach in the Devils’ premiership campaign.
Darley secretary Lorissa Edwards said Roy had re-signed.
Roy joined Darley this year from Lorne in the Colac District league, having previously been a premiership player with South Barwon in the Geelong league.
He suffered a fractured cheekbone and eye-socket late in the season before returning to be part of Darley’s finals campaign.
YOUNG tall Jayden Eales has re-signed with Sunbury as the Lions look to consolidate after the loss of the prominent quartet of David Kovacevic, Adam, Short, Tom Donoghue and Ben Said.
Standing 199cm, Eales mixed commitments with Williamstown in the AFL Vic development league this year to play eight games with the Lions.
