The printmaking workshop is funded by the Victorian Government to support veterans interested in pursuing creative and artistic opportunities.
The workshop will be run by a specialist team from ANVAM who have worked with veterans in creative process for many years. This workshop is open to veterans of all ages who have served in Australia's military.
ANVAM chairman Mark Johnston, said that the veterans regional arts program was a fantastic opportunity for veterans from throughout the Ballarat region to come together in a community setting to try their hand at art making processes.
“We have had veterans who served in World War 2, through to veterans of more recent conflicts and operations participate and all have gained a tremendous amount from it,” Mr Johnston said.
The program will be run at Midlands Ballarat RSL Sports and Services Club on October 31 and November 1. To enquire about participating phone Lynne Redman on 5332 8679.
