Ballart star Prue Bell set to shine on stage in Sydney

Prue Bell was always a performer; from walking around her Ballarat home singing to her parents as a child to staring in musicals at high school and local theatre groups.

Now Ms Bell will be taking the stage at the Roslyn Packer Theatre in Sydney as part of the Sydney Theatre Company’s adaption of Australian classic ‘Muriel’s Wedding’.

While Ms Bell has been involved with professional productions in Melbourne, she said working with the Sydney Theatre Company is like nothing else.

“It's incredibly amazing,” she said.

“Even our rehearsal location is insane; the bridge is right there and we sit of the wharf at lunch, it’s pretty magical.”

Ms Bell will take the stage in the female ensemble in this modern musical adaption from late November until the end of January.
