A major leak requiring costly repairs was found earlier this year.
Ballarat City Council approved $400,000 to fix the problem at a general meeting in September.
Council community development director Neville Ivey said the works would be completed “within the next few days”.
“Works are currently underway at the Eureka Pool to repair the major leak identified during an integrity test completed earlier this year,” he said.
“The pool will reopen for the first weekend of November.”
Cr Des Hudson said at the September meeting that council should give consideration to removing the raised lip at the edge of the pool.
Pools without a raised lip are preferred for competitive swimming meets.
