The Cope Street Parade is a high-energy Australian music ensemble from Sydney.
This is Australian swing music. The sounds of gypsy swing are mixed with elements of New Orleans traditional jazz and a decidedly Australian bent.
They are reimagined as if Django Reinhardt met Louis Armstrong in a good, old country pub.
Formed in 2009, The Parade has performed at major music festivals and venues across Australia including the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz, Sydney Festival, Bellingen Jazz Festival, Manly Jazz Festival and Jazzgroove Summer Festival.
The band has also been lucky enough to collaborate with the likes of Lulo Reinhardt, Dan Barnett, Geoff Bull, Bob Henderson and Bob Barnard.
Saturday, Blacktone Radio @ The Spa Bar and Sunday @ Old Hepburn Hotel
Blacktone Radio is an original, blues-infused funk-rock trio hailing from Central Victoria. Noted for its big sound, the band incorporates a variety of influences into its original list.
Stay tuned for more on Blacktone Radio.
The band consists of Brett Muhlhan on guitars and vocals, Chris Burke on bass and David McDougall on drums.
