The team scored an emphatic triumph over Ballarat Memorial Sports on its home greens on Monday.
Smeaton prevailed in two of the three rinks to register an 80-45 win in the division one clash.
The result has lifted the side from the bottom of the ladder to a spot in eighth.
BMS, which was promoted to the top division this season, remains without a victory in 2017-18.
Elsewhere, Central Wendouree, Creswick and City Oval kept their unbeaten runs in tact with respective wins over Daylesford, Buninyong and Sebastopol.
The other match of the round saw Avenue clinch a narrow 65-61 success against Midlands Golf.
Avenue won two rinks to secure its second triumph of the season.
