Sharp joins the re-appointed Kelly Amoore to oversee the 13/under program.
BFNL netball operations coordinator Grace Bibby said Sharp had had ties with interleague in the past, but never in an official role.
Sharp was the junior netball coordinator at East Point last season.
Prue Douglass and Georgia Cann will be at the helm of the 17/under team and Deb
Hutchinson with coach the 15/unders.
Cann was with the 17/unders this year, while Douglass is stepping up from the 15/under squad.
Hutchinson coached the 13/under team this year.
Cann led the 17/unders to success in the Barwon junior championships and on a far north Queensland trip.
She said she was excited to be given the opportunity to coach the age group again this season.
Bibby said it was pleasing to have such quality netball people and mentors put up their hand to coach at the next level.
“It is really great that they are prepared to give up their time and invest so much into the program,” she said.
“Our results last season show we are fast becoming one of the leading associations in the state and that is largely due to the amount of work our coaches do.”
The representative program will start in the next couple of weeks with trials taking place early next month.
