Heta has signed with Albury, where he has close family ties.
The classy ruckman/forward joined the Cobras from OMFL powerhouse Wodonga Raiders this year and quickly established himself as the competition’s premier ruckman.
Heta’s departure is a major loss for Bacchus Marsh.
Cobra coach Travis Hodgson said Heta had made a big impact at the club and beyond – representing the BFL, being selected in the BFL team of the year and being runner-up Bacchus Marsh’s best and fairest.
“Most importantly he was a terrific club person.
“We would have loved him to stay longer, but he is returning to Albury for family reasons.” he said.
“He goes with our absolute best wishes.”
