TODAY is the scariest date of the calendar - if you believe in it. I've never celebrated Halloween, but this year I received five invitations on Facebook from friends who were hosting dress-up Halloween parties. To be honest the whole thing scares me a little bit and when I think about kids trick or treating, I'm not sure where I stand. But, that thought saddens me too, because kids should be allowed to dress up and go out in their community and have some fun.
I still have plenty of left over Easter eggs so if there is a knock at my door - they will honestly be doing me a favour!
There are a few things happening in town to celebrate Halloween including a scary, fun evening for families at the Tangled Maze in Creswick. The night includes a meal and a maze explore. It’s also fancy dress so don't forget your fangs and ghost sheets! Cost is $19.50 for an adult and for $14.50 for children. You must book so make sure you call 5345 2847 straight away if you want to go along. It kicks off at 7pm - 9.30pm.
As for me, I have been loving this weather and am going home to cook out first barbecue since we've been blessed with this awesome sunshine! Enjoy!
