She follows in the footsteps of late great grandmother Jean Titheridge, grandfather Neil Titheridge and uncle Ross Titheridge.
Jean took out the women’s title in 1958, while Neil claimed 26 men’s championships between 1957 and 1988, and Ross won in 1989, 1990 and 2009.
Neil's titles came in 1957-58, 1960-64, 1966-1970, 1972-1976, 1978 and then eight in a row from 1981.
Just 16 years of age and a past junior champion at the club, Sophie defeated 2011 and 2012 champion Vicki Waldron 3/2 in a 27-hole final.
Sean Klain took out the men’s title for a third time and the second in a row.
He had the better Dave McConchie over 36 holes.
