The Hawks, which resumed at 1-19, needed just 40 overs to overtake Brown Hill's 235 at the Western Oval on Saturday.
East Ballarat was the only team batting second to get a win in the round, with Wendouree, Golden Point and North Ballarat all having more than enough runs to secure first innings points.
Mark Shaw led the runs chase for East Ballarat with a confident 68 (7 fours, 2 sixes) off 78 balls.
This was followed by a series of solid contributions by Nick Waldie, Harli Givvens, Josh Brown,Tristan Dixon and Zac Thorne, with the latter two getting the Hawks across the line.
This gives East Ballarat two wins and leaves Brown Hill winless.
WENDOUREE had little trouble against Darley at Wendouree.
The Red Caps’ 5-288 was always out of the reach of Darley, 172.
Darley started steadily enough to get to 2-63, but the run out of Brad Barnes triggered a collapse which it never recovered from.
Wickets tumbled regularly, including 3-3 when Jonty Wall struck twice, to be 7-85 and all but done.
Only opener Lachlan Herring provided any sort of stability.
He held together one end with 64 (8 fours) in his first match of the season.
Herring combined with Ben Longhurst, who completed an impressive double with 40 (7 fours), to give the innings some respectability with a 75-run eighth wicket.
Tom Le Lievre completed a stunning game.
He took 6-52 off 23.4 overs to complement his unbeaten century.
NORTH Ballarat, 6-255, had plenty of room to move in defeating Napoleons-Sebastopol, 156, at Napoleons.
Again it was a contribution at the top of the order which was the stand-out for Naps-Sebas, with opener Ryan Gibson, getting 50 (5 fours).
Gibson and Will Ringin, 17, put on 74 for the first wicket before the Roosters took control.
Naps-Sebas lost 4-7 to lose all chance.
Jacob Eyers, 39, and Simon Ringin, 16, then added 48, but once they were separated the end came quickly - the last four wickets tumbling for 12 runs.
Adam Eddy and Will Rogers each picked up three wickets.
GOLDEN Point, 8-327, defeated Ballarat-Redan, 155, at Alfredton.
The Two Swords grafted hard to get through 73 overs, but was never on target to chase down the target.
Bobby Hind led the batting with 51 (9 fours) off 159 balls.
Imports Tharanga Fernando and Manjula De Zoysa each claimed three wickets.
