The club is preparing for the Victorian Senior Masters, which it successful held for the first time last January.
A leg of the PGA Legends Tour, the 2018 Victorian Senior Masters is booked for January 26-27.
The opening day of play is scheduled for the Friday before a gala dinner that evening. The second and final round is then played on the Saturday and the winner crowned.
Terry Price, Mike Harwood, Peter Fowler, Peter Lonard, Peter O’Malley, Rodger Davis and Peter Senior are among the big names that play on the PGA Legends Tour.
The Midlands tournament carries a prize purse of $30,000.
New South Wales golfer Steven Conran prevailed in a dramatic play-off to win this year’s event.
Conran birdied the third sudden-death hole – on the 18th at Midlands – to beat Queenslander Craig Warren.
After the victory, Conran said he hoped to be back in 2018 to defend the title.
