The Kookaburras, which are the only winless team following six rounds of the division one weekend pennant competition, host a Creswick side that has claimed just two victories in 2017-18.
Sebastopol was awfully close to a win in round five, but could only manage a draw in the clash with Webbcona.
Following that, the Kookaburras were well beaten by Central Wendouree before last weekend’s league-wide break due to the Victorian Open.
The team is currently sitting at the foot of the ladder and 15 points adrift of the ninth-placed Webbcona.
Creswick is seventh on the table and heads towards this encounter following a handy 31-shot triumph against Mt Xavier before the break.
Elsewhere this Saturday, Ballarat East will be locked in battle with City Oval.
The Two Blues are third on the ladder after last round’s loss to Learmonth and will be keen to claim victory to keep their place inside the top four.
Ballarat East will host a City Oval outfit that was handed a 34-shot defeat by top team Ballarat last time out.
That Ballarat side shouldn’t have too many problems accounting for Webbcona on its home green this weekend.
In other division one games in round seven, Buninyong is at home to Central Wendouree and Learmonth will make the trip to take on Mt Xavier.
The Geelong-Ballarat Premier Bowls competition also resumes from a break this Saturday.
Webbcona and BMS are the Ballarat-based clubs scheduled to play at home this weekend, with respective games against Queenscliff and Bareena.
Sebastopol has the tough road trip to Ocean Grove, while Victoria is booked to travel to Lara.
The other clash is between cellar dwellers Eastern Park and City of Geelong, which hold ninth and 10th spot on the ladder respectively.
