Giblett has played in the Mounties one-day A grade the past two weeks, including a 79 against Ballarat Fire Brigade.
It was hoped he would commit to the club in the new year, but to Mt Clear’s delight he will be a valuable inclusion for round six of the Ballarat Cricket Association first grade.
Giblett is capable of quick runs at the top of the order and will help bolster Mt Clear’s batting order. Having plied his trade for Brown Hill in recent time, Giblett also coached, and played, at Torquay in the Geelong Cricket Association seconds competition.
