O’Brien has left Essendon, where he was the club’s Victorian Football League captain last season.
The 24-year-old North Ballarat Rebels draftee played a total of 14 AFL games for the Bombers between 2012 and 2015, kicking four goals.
GOODBYE: Nick O'Brien has left Essendon for Strahmore.
He then left for Woodville-West Torrens and finished runner-up in the SANFL’s Magarey Medal in 2016.
