Santa will be personally replying to letters from children in the region this Christmas, with the help of Wozzle the Bear from Children and Family Services.

The mailbox was made and donated by Ballarat East Community Men’s Shed.

Letters received at the CAFS office before 5pm on December 13 will receive a personal reply from Santa and Wozzle.

More than 1,790 children across the Central Highlands region received a Christmas gift from CAFS in 2016.

CAFS Family and Early Childhood Services program manager Sharon Fecteau said any donations of toys, sporting equipment and makeup for teenagers would be warmly received.

“Parents get a sense of relief, Christmas is going to come for their kids,” she said.

CAFS Ballarat is Ludbrook House, 115 Lydiard Street.
