Our Lady Help of Christians is hosting the free event for the 26th year and has grown from a handful of people since its early days.
Event organiser Sandra Dillon said the event will continue its tradition of being a beacon for those looking for a sociable day filled with friendly people and a hearty meal.
“It’s a great day, it’s got a lovely vibe to it,” she said.
“People are happy to be there and are very friendly.
“We get people from all over Ballarat.”
Ms Dillon said a bus is available for those needing transport on the day.
She said bookings to attend the 12pm event can be made by calling 0419 975 914.
