Caris was part of the Victorian team that went through the carnival undefeated to win the 15/under title.
The Vics beat New South Wales by 10 goals in the final to claim the gold medal.
Caris was then picked in the Australian squad, which is set to compete next year on the Gold Coast.
It will be the first time she has represented her country in the sport.
Caris was joined in the Victorian team by North Ballarat netballer Lavinia Fox.
Meanwhile, East Point player Milly Sharp led her side to a silver medal in the 12/under competition.
Sharp, a student at Ballarat Grammar, was captain of the Victorian outfit.
There wasn’t a final in the 12/under division, with the Vics finishing second behind New South Wales on the ladder after the round robin matches.
The Pacific School Games were held in Adelaide during early December.
