More than 50 members of various Ballarat choir groups will perform Christmas choral music alongside the Creswick Brass Band and guest organist Dr Andrew Mariotti from 7pm on Friday night.
Regina Caeli Schola member Vincent Sully said attendees will be treated to some of Ballarat’s best choirs.
“We had a massive crowd last year, all of the pews were filled and we had people up in the choral loft,” he said.
“It’s a good opportunity for people to bond through music and through the Christmas message.”
Ballarat Choral Society Janette Dalgliesh said each choir would bring something different to the mix.
”It’s a beautiful space aesthetically, and you’ve got these soaring voices,” she said. “It’s a multi-sensual experience.”
“We come from a lot of different backgrounds, but there’s something really precious about contributing to a multi-faith experience.”
Donations on the night go to the 3BA Christmas Appeal.
