Big Ted, constructed from bales and sporting a beer, has been entertaining families on their way to Lake Burrembeet for 19 years.
Farmer Adam Fraser said a few rainy days and extra help from some European balers meant the teddy-themed construction could go ahead.
“You spent plenty of hours sitting on the tractor, and you come up with creative ideas,” he said.
“We don’t have the time to do it every year, but we had few wet days.
“We have some German machinery and some guys from Europe here at the moment, so that’s where it came from.
“It’s something different.”
A fifth-generation farmer, Mr Fraser said the tradition was now a favourite with his children.
“Every year it they’re asking me to do it, and we always have a bit of fun with it,” he said.
