The Kookaburras had sat fourth, one spot behind Victoria, heading into Saturday’s round of matches, but jumped back into third thanks to a narrow four-shot win against bottom team City of Geelong.
Sebastopol took out two rinks and drew another to register the 96-92 win away from home.
Elsewhere, Victoria slipped to fifth following a 20-shot loss to top team Bareena, Queenscliff climbed into the top four with a big win over Eastern Park, Lara beat BMS and Ocean Grove defeated Webbcona.
