A teenager charged with "soccer" kicking a police officer in the head at a Melbourne shopping centre has had his bail revoked after breaching one of his conditions.

A Children's Court heard on Friday the 17-year-old committed the breach the day after his release on Tuesday by having a mobile phone.
The prosecutors' application to revoke his bail was granted by a magistrate on Friday, who found the teen had given no explanation for why he had the phone.
The boy had been warned by the magistrate who bailed him that doing so would breach his bail and he could be returned to custody.
"In my opinion, it's a clear breach," another magistrate presiding over the case said on Friday.
The teenager is charged with kicking an officer in the head at Highpoint Shopping Centre in Melbourne's west
on Boxing Day.
Police and youth justice officials opposed the teen getting bail again.
Detective Senior Constable Kwok Yu told the court the accused attacked a policeman in the head with a "soccer kick" as he arrested someone else, causing the officer to become dazed.
The teen was on a 12-month probation order at the time for home invasions, car theft and other crimes, he said, and showed a willingness to flout court orders.
The teen earlier expressed a hatred for police after his 2016 arrest and posted on Facebook that he wanted to seek revenge, Detective Senior Constable Yu said.
"Police have little confidence the accused will abide by the court orders," he said.
The teen returns to court later in January.
