The Ballarat Pacing Cup promises to be a night full of different experiences and family fun.

Elyisum Day Spa Fashions on the Field will feature four categories, best dressed lady, best dressed gentleman, best dressed child and an open category.

There will also be a pampering space and more than $6000 worth of prizes, including a makeup masterclass with Dean Nixon for the best dressed lady and five friends.

Ballarat and District Trotting Club’s Belinda Eden said the variety in categories and value of prizes were a step up from previous years.

“A lot of people that are attending, if they are not here for the harness racing, they actually are going here for the other activities we have going on,” she said.

There will also be a tug of war competition, the Kryal Castle knights jousting, archery and fire breathers.

Ballarat Pacing Cup takes place at Bray Raceway on Saturday January 20. For more information visit ballarattrottingclub.com.au.
